Operation Enduring Freedom Dinner Fundraiser
Dine out at the Jefferson House and help Jefferson troops serving in Afghanistan
The Jefferson Arts Committee’s Operation Enduring Freedom Committee and The Jefferson House Restaurant and Marina are joining forces to raise funds to help address the personal needs of Jefferson Township residents serving their country in Afghanistan. Simply plan on dining at the Jefferson House on beautiful Lake Hopatcong on Thursday evening, August 30 between 5 and 9 pm, mention “Operation Enduring Freedom” to your server and a percentage of your food bill will automatically and generously be donated to the Committee (does not include alcohol, tax, or tip). In turn, the Jefferson Arts Committee (JAC) will use these funds towards providing personal items and covering postage costs to send care packages to designated service men and women.
Order from the Jefferson House menu, enjoy a delicious meal, spend as much or as little as you choose. Owner Bill Orth will be providing musical entertainment during this event; and it’s rain or shine utilizing the restaurant’s deck, first floor, and the ballroom in the event of rain. If you wish to participate, it is requested, if possible, to make advance reservations by calling 973-663-3063.
The Jefferson House is located at 139 Nolans Point Road, Lake Hopatcong - log on to www.jefferson-house.com; and for further information on this special event, contact Pat Staples at 973-234-5615 or firstname.lastname@example.org
