Today is Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of the season of Lent for Christians. Several churches in the township will have services to commemorate the day as follows:
Our Lady Star of the Sea: Mass at 7:30 p.m., prayer service at 5:30 p.m. with disposition of ashes.
St. Thomas the Apostle: Mass at 7:30 p.m. with disposition of ashes.
Milton United Methodist Church: 8:30 – 9 p.m service with disposition of ashes.
Holy Faith Lutheran Church: 2 p.m. MacDermid Homelight; 7 p.m. Ash Wednesday Service
First Presbyterian Church of Berkshire Valley: Service 7 p.m.
