Cody Woodard, 19, Dies

Cody Woodard,19, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Sept. 28 at his home.  

He attended Butler High School and graduated in 2011.

Cody will best be remembered as happy, and always ready to lend a helping hand and an ear to listen to others.

Cody was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Adlena Holick in 2005 and William Holick Sr. in 2002, his uncle James Woodard in 2003, his uncle William Holick Jr. in 2010, and his maternal great grandmother Alfaretta Schliminger in 2010. Cody is survived by his loving parents Denise and Dennis Woodard of Oak Ridge, his paternal grandparents Margaret and Sam Matrisciano of Summerfield, FL, his dear aunt Lori Massaro of Florida, his uncle Donald Holick of Morris Plains, and his great aunt Margaret Magestro and her husband Paul of Morristown, NJ, and his loving cousins Gina and Katie Massaro of Florida, Brian and Timothy Holick of Morristown, NJ and Amanda and Kimberly of Georgia, and several other cousins. Cody also leaves behind his cherished Godparents Diane and Nicholas DeVenezia of Morris Plains.  

The family will receive visitors on Oct. 1 from 6 - 9 p.m. with a funeral service at 8:30 p.m. during the last half hour of visitation at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435. (for GPS-1 Post Place, Newfoundland, NJ 07435) The final disposition will be private.
