Organic Farm Produce Sales
When/Where: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Urban Farm at Lafayette, Morristown
Why Go: You want to eat fresh and can't make the Morristown's Farmers Market on Sunday.

Tween Glow Night at Jump!Zone
When/Where: Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Jump!Zone in Hillsborough.
Why Go: Because your 8- to 12-year-olds love a good night with ice cream, glow bracelets and lots of fun!

Swimming Lessons
When/Where: Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center.
Why Go: Because the summer is here and we love swimming! The Starfish Aquatic Club will be offering swim lessons to children of all ages through mid August. Visit the website for more information and to register.

Bingo Time in Bridgewater
When/Where: Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Green Knoll Care and Rehabilitation on Route 202/206 in Bridgewater.
Why Go: Because who doesn't want to play a little Bingo? Seniors in the center are invited to take part in the game, and volunteers are always welcome to come by and help out.
Cost: Free.
Summer Concert Series
When/Where: Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater.
Why Go: It's not just a concert this weekend, as the county holds its annual Country Fest at 5:30 p.m. with country singer Beth Anne Clayton, followed by Radio Nashville performing at 7 p.m.

Chatham Borough Farmers Market
When/Where: Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Railroad Plz & Fairmount Ave, Chatham
Why Go: Get ready for the annual Edible Jersey Festival with the tomato tasting! Vote for your favorite tomato, pick up your groceries, drop off the kids for Miss Sarah's Story Hour at 10:30 and weigh in your sunflower, all at the Farmers Market.

Plein Aire Painting
When/Where: Saturday, 9 a.m., Chatham New Jersey Transit Station, Fairmount Ave & Railroad Plz, Chatham
Why Go: Bring your easel and paints and enjoy a day of painting with your fellow local artists atChatham's Reasoner Park

Ask the Dog Trainer
When/Where: Thursday, Aug. 16, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., in program room B at the Bernards Township Library, 32 S. Maple Ave., Basking Ridge.
Why Go: Iris Fryzel and her retired service dog, Mindy, will present on how dogs think and why they behave the way they do. Other topics covered include how and why dogs are trained and how problem behaviors are addressed. She will demonstrate some commands with Mindy as well as have a Q & A session. Registration is required.
Cost: Free, but must register ahead online.
Bernardsville Farmers Market
When/Where: Saturdays, through the season, at the train station off Mine Brook Road just south of Olcott Square in Bernardsville.
Why Go: Because you can get the bounty of the season, fresh as can be, as well as gourmet goodies. (Hey, this is the Somerset Hills!) Also, from 9 a.m. to noon, the Somerset Hills Republican Club will be handing out campaign literature for Mitt Romney and Joe Kyrillos, and collecting donations for Curbing Hunger to help those in need in Somerset County.
Cost: Free admission, cost of purchases.
Rebel the Pony's Special Event
When/Where: Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lord Stirling Stable, 256 S. Maple Avenue in Basking Ridge.
Why Go: The friendly Rebel the Pony and all of his people friends will enjoy free games, story times, and refreshments. All of Rebel's pony friends will be on hand to greet visitors and provide free pony rides.
