UPDATED: Weldon Road Now Open
Comfort center open at Senior Center will close at 5, rabies clinic rescheduled.
As of 6 p.m. Thursday, the Jefferson OEM said that Weldon Road has been reopened.
The street was closed from the Middle School to Jessica Court since Thursday morning due to downed wires from the snowstorm, according to the OEM.
No other roads were impacted from the nor'easter, according to Castimore. No additional outages or damage was caused from the storm either, Castimore said.
Only one comfort center will be open Thursday at the Senior Center on Schoolhouse Road. The center was scheduled to be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., but will close at 5 p.m., according to an updated alert Thursday afternoon.
The rabies clinic at the Health Center scheduled for Thursday night has been rescheduled for Dec. 13.
The OEM says anyone from the Lake Side can go to to the Camp Jefferson office and request a shuttle to the Senior Center.
The OEM also said showers are now closed at the Malon Dickerson Trailer Area.
