Five Ways You Can Help the Food Pantry

Services most people don't need to think about, but should.

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, it’s time to think about those less fortunate than ourselves. The Interfaith Food Pantry of Morris County is always in need of donations. Whether you need the services of the Interfaith Food Pantry or want to help, you can use this information.

  1. Donations are accepted Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Volunteers sort and shelve your donation and deliver groceries to those who can't get to the food pantry.
  2. Volunteer applications are online. You can fill out an application to volunteer at www.mcifp.org.
  3. The IFP takes money and gift cards. These donations are used for additional groceries, supplies, rent, postage, telephone, staff and other essentials.
  4. Tribute cards are available. You can make a donation in the form of a memorial or a tribute for a bar or bat mitzvah, holiday, anniversary, birthday or busness or teacher gift.
  5. Your organization can do a food drive. IFP supplies a kit to help with a successful food drive.
