Jefferson's White Rock Elementary School recently held its Grandparents/Special Persons Day. What follows is the school's account of the day:
White Rock Elementary School recognized some wonderful people during Miss Lang’s annual Grandparents/Special Persons Day celebration.
The event was filled with interactive interviews, a story and poem, games and breakfast. The special guests were treated to a digital storytelling presentation where the children described how they are important to them. The students also made and distributed thank you gifts to all attendees.
Fun and bonding was had by all!
