Happy One-Week Anniversary, Jefferson Patch
We're still new, but we have a lot to offer.
Jefferson Patch has been alive for a week today. And quite an eventful week it has been. The week started with beautiful photos of holiday lights, and finished with stories and photos galore of the first major snowstorm of the 2010-2011 winter season.
In between there were stories about a security monitor at the high school making a plea to be reinstated in the wake of an alleged fight in the hallway, a freshman who played quarterback on the varsity football team, the future of the library, a past soap opera star who is now a real estate agent in town, donations made to the Jefferson Animal Shelter and the Castlerock Open Space Preserve, and a residential community for special needs adults. And oh yeah, a major holiday happened this week as well!
We've also provided help with where to find pre-made holiday meals in a hurry, where to eat out on Christmas Eve, and things to do with the family over winter break.
We have lots of interesting and exciting stories planned for you throughout 2011, and we'll always be out and about, reporting the latest information that you need to know at you go about your days in town.
Thanks for your loyalty to Jefferson Patch. Please keep your comments coming. Let us know what you think, what's on your mind and what you want to see us cover at Jefferson Patch. May all of our readers have a happy, healthy and safe 2011!
