Just because school has ended, that doesn't mean the end of the sports season. We know there are all sorts of summer leagues for adults and kids, and we'd love to know more about them. So as the summer season kicks into full gear, we're putting out a bit of a plea: We need you.
The unfortunate truth is, even hopped up on coffee and carbohydrates, we can't get everywhere. We need your help to fill in the gaps. Are you a coach? A proud parent? A player? Just a mega-fan? Get in touch with Patch at susan.toth@patch.com, and we'll start talking about ways you can help keep us (and the community) in the loop about our hard-working athletes. We know your schedule's busy, but we can work out options that involve very little time commitment—whatever you can spare, we're glad for the help.
Please consider lending your words and/or photos to the site, so our athletes get the accolades they so richly deserve.

The girls varsity lacrosse team played Kinnelon this week. The score does not show it but they gave their heart and soul in this game. Great job Falcon Girls LAX

Even though the the score was 14 and the goal count was 13, the Girls Falcon Lacrosse team came away with a nice win over DePaul. Keep it up Falcons.

Skyland Roller Girls are having a light summer; our next game isn't until September :( Booo! By then the kids' events will be back and I'm sure no one will care about women dressed in fish nets ;)
