Rain may have dampened the skies, but it couldn't dampen the spirits of the Class of 2012 as its members received diplomas on Friday night at Jefferson Township High School's commencement ceremonies.
Graduates listened to addresses by salutatorian Rachel Faust, valedictorian Liying (Jenny) Shan, superintendent of schools Joseph Kraemer and principal Karl Mundi, before walking across the makeshift stage to get their diplomas. Student council president Dylan Johnson and National Honor Society memer Brian Tedford read the names, as Board of Education member Frank Cuccio handed out diplomas.
