Lake Fireworks Start 4th of July With a Bang
Annual display over Lake Hopatcong draws large crowd.
Even though there isn’t really a holiday weekend this July 4, the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club opted to start Independence Day festivities a bit early, offering its annual fireworks display over the lake on Friday night.
Land lovers gathered on beaches, docks or their own front porches, while those more inclined toward water took boats out on the lake to enjoy the show. DJ Chris D’Amico spun patriotic tunes for the crowd's enjoyment.
