Little League Wins District 20 Championship

The team defeated Sparta 3-2.

 

The following comes from reader (and proud mom) Janine Urbano.

The Jefferson 8/9-year-old team beat Sparta to win the New Jersey Little League District 20 championship on Monday.

CJ White scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning for a final score of 3-2 and was presented with the game ball. The team received State Tournament pins in a post-game ceremony. 

The team consists of General Manager - Jack Chenault, Head Coach - Paul Cece, Assistant Coaches - Don Vassallo and Paul Urbano.  Players: Justin Cece, Luke Chenault, Ryan Clarkson, Jack Fitzpatrick, Austin Jack, Matt Lemieux, Zachary Roskowsky, Jonny Sadowski, Jack Urbano, Brian Vassallo, & CJ White.

I think they got their district pins. You need to get through Sections before making it to the states. Congrats JTLL ! !
