More Budget Talks Set for Council Meeting
Wednesday's gathering introduces bond refund ordinance.
The Jefferson Township Mayor and Council will meet Wednesday, March 13 for its first regular meeting of March.
The meeting will kick off with more budget discussion at 6 p.m., with the regular meeting to follow at 7 p.m.
Last week, a meeting was scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, but was canceled due to inclement weather for a snow storm that did make landfall in northern New Jersey until Thursday night.
Council will introduce an ordinance on first reading that would authorize refunding bonds in the amount of $5.5 million, according to the agenda.
The meeting is open to the public and all residents are welcome.
