New Hope Food Pantry Benefits from Curves' Donations

The gym's food drive nets big results for the pantry.

The Milton United Methodist Church’s New Hope Food Pantry will benefit from the efforts of Curves in Lake Hopatcong. The gym collected 1284.5 pounds of food in its 14th annual food drive.

“We had a lot of help from our members, local Girl Scout troops and Coupons for the Community,” said Curves’ owner Debbie Dominicci.”We were able to surpass last year’s total.”

Last year Curves collected 920 pounds of food.

The donations included staples like cereal, peanut butter and canned goods, and more fun items like small Easter baskets.

PostNet, Curves’ neighbor on Bowling Green Parkway, donated the printing of 1500 flyers to advertise the event.
