New Traffic Lanes Ready for Start of School
Left-turn only and right-turn only lanes expected to fix traffic flow issue at high school complex.
When school starts in Jefferson Township next Wednesday, the high school/middle school complex should experience improved traffic flow.
Representatives from Denville Line Painting were at the school on Friday to reconfigure the lines in front of the schools, adding a left turn only lane for cars entering the school from the Oak Ridge section of town and a right turn only lane for those entering the school from the Lake Hopatcong section.
"This new pattern has been tested, and it should really improve the traffic flow," Jefferson Board of Education member Frank Cuccio said.
