Cops: Man Hit Car, Drove Away Until He Couldn't

The following arrest information was supplied by the Jefferson Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A man hit a parked car and kept on driving away from the scene, even though his own car had extensive damage, police said.

Police said Daniel Wilson, 39 of Jefferson Township struck a parked vehicle while driving on Swan Lane. He continued to drive his vehicle until it became disabled and then fled fled the scene, police said.

Officers located Wilson a short time later at his residence, police said. He was issued numerous summonses for charges including leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and reckless driving, police said.
