The past two months or so have been wild in Jefferson Township, and the weather has made history.
On Aug. 28, we faced Hurricane Irene, with flooding all over town. As October wound down, some parts of Jefferson were smacked with more than a foot of snow.

It was very difficult for my husband to travel with so many raod closures (going towards the Rt 23 Transit Center). We lost power...that was awful (no generator to rely on). I really do need to commend the council for deciding to trim our trees in town last year...that really helped us not have a worse power outage with this storm.
