Some County Offices Will Be Closed Monday

Morristown remains without power.

 

As New Jersey, Morris County and Morristown prepare to move from damage control to recovery in the wake of Hurricane Irene, Morris County offices in Morristown are expected to be closed on Monday.

The Administration and Records Building, Morris County Courthouse and the Schuyler Building will be closed. Also, the Morris County Library is Whippany will be closed. All other Morris County offices will be open during their normal business hours.

If you have an appointment, call ahead to confirm.

has power returned to morristown in particular south st? if not, when is the power expected to be restored?

We have not received any updates yet besides what we had posted earlier. Last report is still that power COULD (note, could) be restored to most Morristown residents within 12 hours. But, it is likely power from TD Bank to the Green in the business district could be out for an extended period of time.

We have no power here on Harter road in morris twnshp. Any idea when we will be back on?
