Even though Lucas Staccioli already had his Eagle Scout Court of Honor, the Jefferson Township council honored him for receiving the distinction at its meeting on Wednesday.

Staccioli, a member of Troop 49, constructed and installed five park benches. Three are at Silas Condict Park in Kinnelon and two are at the Memorial Garden in honor of Gig the Florist at Lakeside Field.

Staccioli’s parents Donna and Marc were on hand when he received his resolution and proclamation from the council.
