Video: Whoa! Man Hovers Over Lake Hopatcong
He doesn't have super powers. But he might have $100,000 to burn.
Steve Ellis couldn't believe it.
As the regional superintendent of the state's northern parks watched the video, his eyes widened.
"Now I've seen it all," Ellis said.
What did he see? A man hovering above Lake Hopatcong.
Well, not exactly.
The man was using a water-powered jet pack to propel himself over and around the lake, causing boaters to crane their necks at the spectacle.
A company that manufactures such equipment, MS Watersports GmbH, calls its product the JetLev Flyer. The machine—powered by a 250-horsepower, four-stroke engine—costs $99,500, according to the company's website.
What do you think of the machine? Tell us in the comments.

Save your $. For a few thousand more you could be landing one of these on the lake.

We saw him yesterday at CAPP Beach. He put on a nice little show for us. Some of the ladies would like to know if he is single :)

He is awesome. We loved watching him. He was very careful of his suroundings/safety. It was just amazing to watch. We would love for him to come back. I have been dreaming of trying it myself. Maybe we can all pull for a rental center?!?!
