VIDEO: While Hunting Bigfoot, An Odd Find
Broken down vehicle appears in Jefferson woods while paranormal investigator seeks legend.
Matthew Dick went searching for Bigfoot in Lake Hopatcong.
And while Dick didn't find Sasquatch, he found something strange.
Dick, a paranormal investigator, came across a broken down vehicle seemingly out of nowhere near a trail while traveling North along Weldon Road, near the Route 15 exit, after passing the Mahlon Dickerson Reservation.
"How the hell did it get here?" Dick said during a clip he posted to YouTube.
Dick wrote in the clip's description that the car looked like it had rolled into the tree, "but the angles are all wrong. There is a small road on the power line trail but it is very rugged and not far enough away to explain the damage."
Dick said the car is on a path that's part of the Highlands Trail system. He's a member of the New Jersey Paranormal Investigation Team.

Aprox 20 yrs ago my husband, son, and I were hiking the trails that zigzagged through Mahlon-D somewhere near Wildcat ridge. Way, way out next to the narrow hiking trails we found the remains of a car. Not sure if it's the same one but I know we wondered how and the heck it managed to get so far into the woods. Who could bring it that far in and why?

I've found a shell of a car behind camp Jefferson and also my daughter found one in Mahlon Dickerson. Between Jefferson and Vernon I've come across 4 or 5 vehicles in the woods w/ no obvious way for them to have gotten there. Always wondered how someone drove them in.

My husband once showed me an old car in the woods by his old house. The woods were where the Peeks now are. it was an old run down car from the 50s with what looked like bullet holes in it.
