This week is a busy one in Jefferson, with lots of meetings and a little bit of fun thrown in, just for good measure. Here’s what’s coming up, and what you can expect to see covered on Patch this week.
BILY Support Group: If you’re having trouble with your teenager’s behavior, this is the group to go to for support. It meets tonight at 7 p.m. at the Board of Education office.
Jefferson Community Players Open Casting: Are you interested in showing off your acting chops? There are roles available for males and females 14 and older. The casting for several plays takes place tonight starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Jefferson Township Senior Center.
Lake Hopatcong Commission Meeting: If you’d like to know what’s going on to care for the lake, this is the place you’ll want to be. The meeting is tonight at 7 p.m. at the Jefferson Township Municipal Building.
Board of Education Meeting: This meeting takes place on Tuesday night starting at 7:15 p.m.—note the time, earlier than the usual 8 p.m. start—at the high school. Find out what’s happening in our schools.
Township Council Meeting: This meeting will happen on Wednesday night at 8 p.m.—also later than the usual 7 p.m. start time, at the municipal building. You can find out all the goings-on in town here.
Milton Tri-School PTA Meeting: This meeting will happen on Wednesday night in the all-purpose room at Cozy Lake School at 7 p.m. If you want to volunteer in your children’s schools on the Oak Ridge side of town, come out and support the PTA.
