The third week in July ended up being fraught with highs and lows for the Lake Forest Vikings. The team experienced a crushing defeat to Roxbury on Wednesday, and then dominated against the Park Sharks only three days later.

Despite the daunting task of swimming against the Racers, one of the largest and most powerful teams in the North Jersey Regional Lake League, many Lake Forest swimmers impressed all with 15 first, 19 second and 25 third place finishes. Not an easy task when facing such a formidable opponent.

On Saturday July 21, Lake Forest hosted and defeated the Park Lake Sharks by a score of 317 to 137, bringing their record to 4 and 2. The swimmers taking first, second or third place finishes that day were:
