Phil 'n the Void to rock Jefferson Township Day 2012
Phil 'n the Void is a New Jersey based band with roots in Sussex and Somerset counties, providing professional live musical entertainment in and around northern and central New Jersey. Their exceptional mix of classic, pop-rock hits appeal to music lovers of all ages and guarantees a great time for all. Whenever and wherever a high-energy, rock 'n roll dance party is desired, Phil 'n the Void consistently deliver. And the Jefferson Arts Committee is pleased to announce that Phil 'n the Void are expected to deliver a fantastic evening concert at this summer’s Jefferson Township Day XXVI event to be held on Saturday, July 14 on the fields of the Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road, Milton/Oak Ridge.
Two years ago, Jefferson Township Day 2010 had been on Phil's radar, but unfortunately not on Phil's calendar for 2010; and then everything changed. As fate would have it, the Band got the call two days before the event to “fill the void”created by a last minute cancellation. Then Mother Nature moved the event back a day, creating yet another “void to fill”and Band found itself a golden opportunity to shine. And shine they did! Under a sweltering Sunday summer sun that year, the Band pounded out two full sets of crowd favorites and had a really great time. Jefferson Day was a huge success and now, two years later, they’ll be returning to Jefferson Township to take the main stage for a two-hour evening concert at 7 pm before the spectacular fireworks at 9:15 on Saturday, July 14.
Originating in 2000, Phil 'n the Void is comprised of life-long musicians dedicated to providing high-quality entertainment. Excellent musicianship, showmanship and a thoughtful selection of timeless classics means a show that is appealing to audiences of all ages — 8 to 80! Over the years, the band has steadily developed and mastered this particularly unique appeal. Phil 'n the Void play an eclectic mix of rock-pop classics — timeless music that has a broad appeal to the music that you know the words to and can't help but sing along with. The music that grabs your spirit, moves your feet and takes you to a time and place that's sure to make you smile.
With Phil 'n the Void it “ain't nothing but a party” so mark your calendar for July 14 - the 26th annual Jefferson Township Day to enjoy all the day has to offer and then to rock with Phil ‘n the Void that night.
