Chamber of Commerce Lunch, Brownies Meet, Story Time at Jefferson Library

If you are a local business owner, the Jefferson Township Chamber of Commerce wants to get to know you—and the organization wants to introduce you to your fellow entrepreneurs. The group offers a Chamber of Commerce Networking Lunch at C3 Workplace in nearby Sparta. The event will enable attendees to learn about C3 and its facilities and services, such as its "Co-Working Space," shared office rentals and networking groups. The luncheon begins at 12 noon. The cost is $20 per person and guests are welcome. C3 Workplace can be found at 37 Main St. in Sparta.

Ellen T. Briggs Elementary School in J-Town hosts a meeting for Brownie Troop 5047, according to the school district website. The gathering is scheduled for 4-5:30 p.m.  The girls will meet in the school's art room. Briggs School is at 1 Jefferson Drive in Lake Hopatcong.

Thursday is the day to share the love of books with children. The Jefferson Township Public Library offers two weekly opportunities: From 4-5 p.m., kids five and older are invited for Stories for Ages 5 & Up.
