Jefferson Recreation Fall Yoga Classes Start Thursday

What's happening Thursday in Jefferson Township.

Patch has what you need to know in Jefferson for Thursday:

The Jefferson Township Recreation Department starts its Open Level Hatha Yoga Class at the Jefferson Township Middle School cafeteria at 7:30 p.m. 

Students will be instructed in the Hatha style of yoga by certified teacher Linda Mangan. The hour-long 12-session class is open to all levels through intermediate and runs starting this Thursday and ending Dec. 12 (class is not held Oct. 3). A makeup session will be offered, if needed, on Dec. 19.

The course fee is $42 per person. Jefferson Middle can be found at 1000 Weldon Road in Oak Ridge. 

Registration forms are available at the Recreation Department at 81 Weldon Road from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m, at the Municipal Building and at the Jefferson Public Library. You can also download the form from the municipal website. Be aware that all paperwork and payment must be received in the Recreation Department  before you may start class. The instructor will not accept registration forms and payment at any session.    

All students should bring a yoga mat, yoga blocks (optional) and a bottle of water to each session.
