Join Castaways This Sunday for a Fundraising Chili Cook-Off
Proceeds benefit the Leap in the Lake Foundation, which fundraises to help disabled children.
Everybody loves chili; this Sunday, you can treat yourself and benefit a good cause.
Castaways Tavern in Hopatcong is hosting a Chili Cook-Off Contest to benefit the Lake Hopatcong Leap in the Lake Foundation for Disabled Children. The chili event is slated for Sunday, Jan. 26.
Participants had until Jan. 19 to sign up, but gourmets who attend to sample their wares will be treated to more than chili. There will be live entertainment, food and drink promotions, and gift giveaways, the restaurant said on their Facebook page.
