Homecoming Football Game
When/Where: Friday at 7 p.m. at Jefferson Township High School
Why Go: Watch the Jefferson Falcons take on Hanover Park High School in the annual homecoming game.
Cost: $4 adults, $2 children

JTHS Alumni Gathering
When/Where: Saturday at 12 p.m. at Hopatcong State Park
Why Go: To meet up with other alumni from your high school years
Cost: Free, but bring your own food

White Rock Lake Vendor Day
When/Where: Saturday from 12 - 6 p.m. at White Rock Lake
Why Go: To help support the lake and get some cool goodies
Cost: Bring your wallet

Wrobo Run
When/Where: Sunday at 7:30 a.m. at the Jefferson Township Municipal Building
Why Go: To honor J.T. Wroblewski, a fallen war hero from Jefferson
Cost: $25

Dicey Riley Concert to Benefit Africa Surgery
When/Where: Friday, 8 p.m. at Church of the Assumption, Morristown
Why Go: You like Irish music, benefits and overall good times.
Cost: $10 suggested donation

Mom 2 Mom Sale
When/Where: Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Woodland Elementary, Morristown
Why Go: You're hunting for some bargains.
Cost: $1

Steampunk at Historic Speedwell
When/Where: Saturday and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m., Historic Speedwell Village, Morristown
Why Go: You love the "steampunk" scene and love supporting this historic site.
Cost: $5 to $12

Crawl for a Cause
When/Where: Saturday starting at 3 p.m. from The Famished Frog, Morristown
Why Go: You want to "crawl" to benefit the Morristown Community Soup Kitchen.
Cost: $20 pre-registered, $25 at the door

Come Fly With Me: Visit Ancient and Modern Egypt
When/Where: Sunday, 2 p.m. at Morristown and Morris Township Library
Why Go: You'd like to enjoy a virtual trip on a Sunday afternoon
Cost: Free

Mercury Rising - The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey
When/Where: Sunday, 3 p.m. at The College of Saint Elizabeth
Why Go: You'd like a classical conclusion to your weekend.
Cost: $5 to $35

Jars of Clay
When/Where: Sunday, 7 p.m. at Mayo Performing Arts Center, Morristown
Why Go: We hope it's because you like the band (see our preview here)!
Cost: $27 to $57

Grand Reopening Wallflowers Gallery
When/Where: Friday at 6 p.m. at the Wallflowers Gallery on Mill Street in Bernardsville.
Why Go:
Because the gallery is reopening with an exhibit from artist Laurie Kalb, of Morristown.
Cost:
Free.

BSC Tackling Breast Cancer
When/Where: Friday at 7 p.m. at the Branchburg Sports Complex on Readington Road.
Why Go: Because it’s an opportunity to watch the staff of the Branchburg Sports Complex take on the Branchburg Police Department, while also collecting donations for the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge for cancer patients.

Bradley Gardens $1-2-3 Clothing and Bargain Bike Sale
When/Where: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bradley Gardens Primary School on Pine Street.
Why Go: Because it’s a chance to support the Bradley Gardens School PTO, while also getting some great deals on shorts, sweaters, shirts, pajamas and much more, all donated locally.

Free, except for the cost of what you buy.

Estate Planning Seminar
When/Where: Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Bridgewater Marriott on Commons Way.
Why Go: Because it’s a good opportunity to learn about wills and living trusts, and how your assets can pass on to your family.

Free.

MCC Fall Festival
When/Where: Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Martinsville Community Center on Washington Valley Road.
Why Go: The center is celebrating its facility with the second annual Fall Festival, with food, children’s games, pumpkin painting and so much more.

Free.

Habitat 5K Home Run & 1 Mile Fun Walk
When/Where: Sunday at 9:30 p.m. at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater.
Why Go: Because Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity is hosting its fourth annual 5K race and one-mile fun walk to meet fellow runners and support the organization.
