Who Is Jefferson's Top Dog (or Cat)?

We love pets at Jefferson Patch. We love writing about them, showing you photos of them and bringing you feature stories about them.

After all, our pets are Jefferson residents too. Why not celebrate them?

So, to have a little fun this week, we're bringing you the Cutest Pet of Jefferson Photo Contest. Upload photos of your cute pet directly to this article. Don't forget to include their name, age and breed.

Once the photos are on the site, it's up to you to get your friends to vote for your pet as the "cutest." Promote your pet on your Facebook walls and Twitter tweets asking your friends to come to Jefferson Patch and vote in the comments of the post.

How do friends vote for the cutest pet? They simply have to leave a comment on the post saying, "I vote for [pet's name]." Whichever pet has the most votes will be named the "Cutest Pet in Jefferson" and a brief story about the pet will be posted next week on Jefferson Patch. The winner will be announced at 5 p.m. Friday.
