Growing With The Seasons Presents An Evening With Dalien aka 13 Hands

Join us for a family-oriented, wondrous evening of chanting, tribe, music, friendship,manifestation and spiritual community as the Grammy-nominated DALIEN aka 13HANDS makes his debut at Growing with the Seasons on Friday, August 3, 2012. Afun, wacky, light-hearted artist and teacher, DALIEN fuses traditional andnon-traditional kirtan approaches and blends them with other spiritual chantingpractices from other cultures. All are welcome regardless of whether or not you’ve ever chanted before . . . no chanter, person, student or friend is left behind in the world of 13 HANDS! Expect a cornucopia of ambient textures, rhythms and meditative world vibes via hang drum, native flutes, ambient loops, guitars, and other world percussion. DALIEN mixes it up with world jams, interaction and contemporary songs that are in the vein of Jason Mraz and David Gray. Anintention-setting music ceremony will be held in the middle of the evening, sobring your intentions and let the tribal energy help support you. And don'tforget a drum! The evening will also feature a ½ -hour reading from DALIEN'snew environmental children's book Picklesthe Pug and the premiere of his new song "One Heart at aTime."
