Jefferson Township Historical Society Museum Special Exhibit

The Jefferson Township Museum, also known as the George Chamberlain House, will have a special open house on Friday evening, March 2 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.  The theme of this month’s exhibit is “It’s about Time”, a display of dozens of clocks and watches, ranging from antiques to more modern collectibles.  If you’d like to learn more about horology and timepieces, be sure to visit. Paul Cincotta, a 27-year Jefferson Township resident, has been an avid collector of clocks for 35 years.  There are specials stories about many of the timepieces on display and Mr. Cincotta will share those stories with us on Friday evening only. Join us for this special reception and enjoy some refreshments. The display will be open again on Sunday, March 4, 1 – 4 pm during our regular open house, but the expert himself is only available on Friday night.

Admission to the Museum is free.  The Jefferson Township Museum, located at 315 Dover-Milton Road, is on the National and State Register of Historic Places.  Be sure to visit Miss Elizabeth’s Shoppe located in the original kitchen of the Museum, where small antiques, collectibles, handmade and handcrafted items will be offered for sale.
