Library Filled With Spring Break Fun

Check out events for every day of this week off from school.

It might be spring break week for Jefferson schools, but not for the . It’s rocking all week long, with all kinds of fun stuff for you and your kids to do. So if you’re looking for ways to keep the kiddies busy while they’re off from school—or for a little break for yourself—check out what’s happening at the library this week.

  1. Monday: There’s a Glass Fusion class for children ages 7 and up at 11 a.m., or your kids ages 6 and up can Make Lunch at the Library at 1 p.m.
  2. Tuesday: A program on Chemical Magic happens at 2 p.m, and at 7 p.m., you can learn about Owls: Watchers of the Night.
  3. Wednesday: A Taste of Poetry happens at 1 p.m. Bring your lunch and a favorite poem to read. Continuing the poetry theme, there will be a reading by poet Renee Ashley at 7 p.m.
  4. Thursday: Your kids ages 7 and up can go to Lego Star Wars Part I at 4 p.m., or to see Rock ‘N Read with Kurt Gallagher at 6:30 p.m.
  5. Friday: Start the day learning how to E-Mail Without Pain at 9:30 a.m. Lego Star Wars Part II happens at 11 a.m. for kids ages 7 and up. And at 5 p.m., kids ages 9-12 can attend Wii Game Night.
