When/Where: Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Fire Company No. 2 on Route 15.
Why Go: To support efforts for Chris Pierson, a  junior who broke his back in a skiing accident.
Cost: $5

When/Where: Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Why Go: To see all the hard work the middle school students are doing and support their efforts to abolish slavery and human trafficking.
Cost: $10

When/Where: Saturday at 8 p.m., at the Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum
Why Go: You enjoy Broadway shows and want to see some notable stars, including American Idol's Constantine Maroulis, perform as villains from some of Broadway's most popular shows.

When/Where: Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the  
Why Go: To donate your blood to the NY Blood Center to help a good cause.

When/Where: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 6 Northview Dr, Morris Plains 
Why Go: To find some good bargains for items such as household goods, tools and electronics

When/Where: Friday, 7 p.m., the Randolph Performing Arts Centre
Why Go: You want to enjoy the sounds of Morristown native, and Randolph resident Rio Clemente, also known as "The Bishop of Jazz."

When/Where: Saturday starting at 6:30 a.m. in Madison.
Why Go: You want to tour this historic area by bike in circuits of anywhere from 12 to 100 miles.

When/Where: Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hyatt Morristown
Why Go: You want to be a "BOLD AND FABULOUS FEMALE."

When/Where: Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Morris Tourism Bureau in Morristown
Why Go: You want an expert tour guide to show you around town, learning about many historical aspects of a various historic location.
Cost: $12

When/Where: Saturday, 6:30 p.m. at Inline Morristown
Why Go: You want to cheer on the Corporal Punishers as they face Hammonton, NJ's "Boardwalk Brawlers."
Cost: $12

When/Where: Sunday, 9:30 a.m. at the Early Street Community Garden, Morristown
Why Go: You want to salute the sun, and the fruits and veggies, in a lovely outdoor setting.
Cost: $5 suggested donation

Bridgewater Talent Show
When/Where: Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the  .
Why Go: To benefit the Kimberly A. Nelson Foundation, which gives scholarships in honor of Kim Nelson, who died of a brain aneurysm in her senior year. The talent  show will feature many high school students, both past and present, showing off their skills, while being judged by Brad Bass, of Jersey Boys, Memphis and Wicked; Brielle LaCosta, Miss New Jersey Galaxy 2011;and Anthony Krizan, formerly of Spin Doctors.
Cost:
$7 for students, $10 for adults.

Swimming Lessons
When/Where: Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the .
Why Go: Because the summer is here and we love swimming! The Starfish Aquatic Club will be offering swim lessons to children of all ages through mid August. Visit the website for more information and to register.
Cost: $80 for all lessons.

Open House Swim
When/Where: Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Glenwood Terrace Pool.
Why Go: Because who doesn't want to enjoy a relaxing day at the pool? The Glenwood Terrace Pool will be having an open house for people to spend some time, relax and just take a load off for an afternoon.
Cost:
 Free.

Bridgewater Talent Show
When/Where: Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the  .

Why Go: Because who doesn't love trains? The 4-H will be holding its annual show with trains running along tracks all day, as well as hands-on activities and much more.

Forest Fest
When/Where: Saturday at 11 a.m. at  .
Why Go: Because it's time to celebrate the Roots and Shoots program, and the 15 anniversary of the school's backyard meadows and trails with the annual program that will include live entertainment, arts, environmental information and good food.
Cost:
 Free.

Colonial "Kitchin" Gardens
When/Where: Saturday at 2 p.m. at the   on Van Veghten Drive in Bridgewater.
Why Go: Because Master Gardener Ruth Claus will be discussing how herb gardens were absolutely necessary for the early settlers. She will take the audience on an imaginary stroll through colonial "kitchin" gardens.
Cost:
 $5.

Celebrate Dads Event
When/Where: Saturday at 2 p.m. at the .
Why Go: Because Dads deserve a little care too, and the mall is helping out with demonstrations from Williams Sonoma, retailer offerings, free giveaways and practice on a putting green.
Cost:
 Free.

Family Movie Night
When/Where: Saturday at 7 p.m. at  in Bridgewater.
Why Go: Because the Raritan Valley Seventh Day Baptist Church is hosting a family night, complete with refreshments and a family movie.
Cost:
 Free.

Bridgewater Community Blood Drive
When/Where: Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at  .
Why Go: Because it's charitable to help the NY Blood Center by donating blood at the church.
Cost:
 Free.

Yoga in the Park
When/Where: Sunday at 9 a.m. at the parks on North Bridge Street in Bridgewater.
Why Go: To get a little bit of relaxation through the Mayors Wellness Campaign as members of the   teach about yoga.
Cost:
 Free.

Americana: Summer Sounds From the Gazebo
When/Where: Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Bridgewater-Raritan High School.
Why Go: Because we all love some great music, particularly from the Raritan Valley Symphonic Band, which will be performing at the high school in a special summer concert.

 Free.
