Are You Ready For Some Meetings—and Football?

You know summer is really over when the calendar starts getting crowded with things to do every evening. But they are important things, and we want to be sure you don’t forget anything. So here’s a meeting a day for this week—with maybe a little fun thrown in at the end!

1. You Need to Know About The Lake Hopatcong Commission: It at the Roxbury Municipal Building in Ledgewood.
2. You Need to Know About the Jefferson Board of Education: It meets on Tuesday night, Sept. 20 at the Jefferson High School media center at 8 p.m.
3. You Need to Know About the Jefferson Township Council: It meets on Wednesday night, Sept. 21 at council chambers at the municipal building at 8 p.m. Note that this is a change from the normal starting time of 7 p.m.
4. You Need to Know About Back-to-School Night: If you have a high school student, you’ll want to be there for this event on Thursday night, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m.
5. You Need to Know About Football: The 2-0 Jefferson Falcons have their home opener on Friday, Sept. 23 against Mt. Olive at 7 p.m. It’s not a meeting, but it will be fun!
