You Need to Know About a Budget: The Jefferson Town Council will have an open meeting discussing its 2013 budget at 6 p.m. at the municipal building on Wednesday, Feb. 6.

You Need to Know About a Council Meeting: The Jefferson Town Council will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the municipal building, where two new firefighters will be sworn in. The meeting is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.

You Need to Know About a Tricky Tray: The White Rock Lake Valentine’s Tricky Tray will be held Saturday, Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. at 42 White Rock Blvd. Price is $15.

You Need Some Support: The Because I Love You (B.I.L.Y.) Self Help Parent Support Group will be available on Monday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Jefferson Township Board of Education.
