Come to the Skylands Meeting & Learn How YOU Can Protect the Delaware Water Gap!

How you Can Protect the Delaware Water Gap!

On Tuesday May 8th our National Parks & Monuments Team Member John Kashwick will lead a discussion on Sierra Club efforts to protect the Delaware Water Gap.  One proposal would create a new National Park and Preserve at the National Recreational Area and another would be a landscape-scale public-private partnership that would incorporate the park and surrounding areas. This area is being threatened by projects including the Susquehanna Roseland Transmission Line.  Mr. Kashwick will have a presentation and discussion on why it is critical to protect this area and how YOU can get involved in this campaign.

The meeting starts 7:00 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Sussex County, 1 West Nelson St., Newton. It is free and open to the public with free refreshments will be provided!
