Since 2003, the township offering has been presented at Camp Jefferson—prior to that it was at Briggs Elementary School—and it is the work of many volunteers. The article said it has town leaders' full support.

This year’s rain or shine event takes place this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, a less-scary show for the kids will run from 4-5:30 p.m. A super-scary version will run Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 6-8 p.m. Tickets are $3 per person and visitors are asked o bring donations of nonperishable food items for the Jefferson Township Food Pantry.
