Morris 4-H Seeks 'Science-sational Day' Volunteers

Adult volunteers are needed to make the day a success.

The Morris County 4-H Club is seeking volunteers and presenters for its 4-H Science-sational Day, to be held on March 29. The deadline to sign up is Jan. 31.

Teen and adult volunteers will lead hands-on scientific workshops geared towards youth from kindergarden through sixth grade. Workshops can be on a variety of topics: from how a camera works to basic engineering, astronomy or robotics.

The Science-sational Day will begin with registration at 10 a.m. followed by a large group presentation. Youth participants split into two groups, which rotate through three, 50-minute age appropriate workshops. Volunteers may present their workshops multiple times throughout the day.
