Plumber Travis Wilson, JTHS Graduate, Dies Unexpectedly at 28

The young man's family said he loved to cook and hunt, most of all was an avid fisher.

Travis J. Wilson of Sparta, 28, died suddenly in Morristown Oct. 27, according to a notice on the website of Goble Funeral Home. 

A native of Dover, Wilson lived for the last 10 years in Sparta. He graduated from Jefferson Township High School in 2004 and at the time of his death was self-employed as a plumber. His family said he loved to cook and hunt, most of all was an avid fisher. 

Travis Wilson is survived by his mother and stepfather Trisha and Alan Mackerley, brothers Shaun and Tyler Mackerley, grandparents Pete and Marie Wilson and Linda and Richard Chandler, uncles Jim and John Wilson and aunt Vickie Wilson

Memorial donations in Wilson's name may be made to the Salvation Army 15 Cork Hill Road Franklin, NJ 07416.
