Cops: Gas Station Worker Hit Customer With Bat

The following arrest information was supplied by the Jefferson Township police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A customer and gas station attendant got into a fight—apparently over loud music—at the Delta gas station on Rt. 23 South earlier this month, police said.

Jefferson police said they were called to the scene Sept. 10 by the customer, who said he had been struck with a baseball bat.

When police arrived, the customer told them he had an argument with the attendant, Ravinder Singh, 37, of Newfoundland, police said. The customer told police Singh slapped him, and then the two began to fight, resulting in Singh hitting the customer several time with the bat, police aid.
