Cops: Jefferson Man Smoked Pot in Bar Bathroom, Argued With Owner, Patrons

Joseph Bousa, 59, became 'verbally abusive' at Chabon's Bar, police said.

A Jefferson man was arrested last month after he was seen smoking marijuana in a bar bathroom and became "verbally abusive" to the owner and patrons while refusing to leave, police said.

Joseph Bousa, 59, was charged with defiant trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to Capt. Eric Wilsusen, Bousa was seen smoking pot in the men's restroom of Chabon's Bar on Jan. 24. He became agitated at the owner and bar patrons and refused to leave the premises, Wilsusen said.

Bousa was placed under arrest and released pending a municipal court appearance.
