Halloween Celebration Held at Lakeside Field, High School Track

Conditions 'too dangerous' outside for door-to-door trick-or-treating on Monday, OEM says.

There will be no door-to-door trick-or-treating on Monday because the "conditions are too dangerous," according to a statement released from the Jefferson OEM Sunday.

The OEM has set up special Halloween activities at the Lakeside Field and High School Track on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. where kids will be able to trick-or-treat there instead. Parents are asked to bring their treats to distribute.

The OEM also urges residents to check on their neighbors with special needs and seniors to insure their safety.
