Local Man Plowing Snow Saturday Night Struck by Vehicle, Cops Say

Police Capt. Eric Wilsusen said no charges were filed following the accident, which left the victim with minor injuries.

A Jefferson Township man was hit by a vehicle Saturday night as he was working to plow snow out of a Brady Road driveway after the weekend winter storm, say police.

Capt. Eric Wilsusen said that just before 8:30 p.m., 52-year-old Christopher Dyer, also of Jefferson, was driving nearby when he reportedly lost control of his vehicle and struck the victim.

The man received minor injuries and was treated at an area hospital, Wilsusen said, adding that there were no charges in the case.
