Man Sought in Succasunna Bank Robbery

Photos released of man who passed note to teller of Wells Fargo Bank on Route 10 late Thursday afternoon.

Authorities have released photos of a man wanted for robbing a Succasunna bank late Thursday afternoon.

Acting Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp said authorities are looking for a white man, about 5-foot-9 with facial hair, who was wearing all black when he passed a note demanding money from a teller at the Wells Fargo Bank on Route 10 in the Succasunna section of Roxbury Township at about 4:40 p.m. Thursday.

The man left on foot headed away from Route 10, Knapp said. The man was wearing what appeared to be a black jacket, black shirt, black pants, black boots and a black hat.

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit, the Roxbury Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff's Office and the FBI are investigating the robbery.
