Teen Flips Pickup Truck During Snowstorm

17-year-old sustained no injuries from accident on Holland Mountain Road.

A 17-year-old township resident sustained no injuries after he flipped his pickup while trying to avoid another vehicle on Holland Mountain Road during Wednesday night's nor'easter, Jefferson Police said.

According to Sgt. Tim McBride, the teen flipped his vehicle on its side when he swerved to avoid another car at the bottom of the hill, but was able to exit his car and sustained no injuries.

McBride said the teen was traveling home around 7:50 pm. He said no other vehicles were involved.

McBride said Officer Christopher Quidort responded to the incident. The teen's vehicle was towed, and his parents picked him up from the scene, McBride said.

Police said the accident remains under investigation.
