Officers Hurt While Arresting Minor, Police Say

Incident allegedly occurred at the BP station on Saturday.

Two Jefferson Township police officers sustained minor injuries when they responded to a report of a 17-year-old male who was harassing customers and refused to leave the 7-Eleven/BP Station on Route 15 on Saturday, police said.

Officer Brian Seeley and Officer Tom Fedo responded to the scene and said that when they began to question the juvenile he became irate. The officers attempted to arrest the boy, but he would not comply, they said.

Police said they believed the juvenile was under the influence of alcohol and possibly other controlled dangerous substances.
