New Firefighter to be Installed at Council Meeting
Also, pen space applications are under review.
The Jefferson Township council meets tonight at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Building. Here’s what’s on the agenda:
- The council will read a proclamation in honor of Beth Recksiek, who is retiring as the township’s tax collector.
- Dennis A. Ryan will be installed as a firefighter for Fire Company No. 1.
- Under new business, the council will discuss applications for the open space trust fund for properties at Hunter’s Glen, Compton Gobel Rd., Shawnee Meadows and Rt. 15 North.
- An ordinance for first reading is on the agenda for redevelopment of property along Rt. 15.
