Township Honors Domestic Violence Awareness
Proclamation read at council meeting.
The Jefferson Township council declared October as Domestic Violence Awareness month. Council president Richard Yocum read a proclamation at Wednesday night's township council meeting.
On hand during the presentation were representatives of Jersey Battered Women's Services, including Terry Tingley, Claudette Talley and Roy Morano.
