Mountain Lakes Students Donate Build-A-Bears to Children at Saint Clare's

Two sixth-grade students at Briarcliff Middle School in Mountain Lakes donated Teddy Bears from Build-A-Bear to children at the Roberta C. Ferguson Pediatric Center at Saint Clare's Hospital.

Zoe Fidacaro and Emily Holmberg, both sixth-grade students at Briarcliff Middle School in Mountain Lakes, NJ, donated Teddy Bears from Build-A-Bear to children at the Roberta C. Ferguson Pediatric Center at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville.  In addition to the stuffed bears, each patient will receive a gift certificate to Build-A-Bear so they will have the opportunity to create their own bear once they go home from the hospital.

Zoe and Emily began their work as a service project for Briarcliff Middle School, and hosted bake sales at their church selling cookies, cupcakes and Rice Krispies Treats to raise the money.  Both Zoe and Emily shared that “when young people get together, they can make a difference in someone’s life by simply giving to others,” and Saint Clare’s Health System is grateful for their generosity.
