It’s the first full work and school week of 2012. And there’s plenty going on in town that you should know about. We’re here to help. Here are five things coming up in town this week:
- Monday: Looking to check out some up and coming Falcon stars? The boys’ JV basketball team has a game against Hopatcong at the high school at 4 p.m. and the freshmen will compete at indoor track at Drew University at 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: It’s the time of year when we make (or maybe break) New Year’s resolutions. If you’re trying to figure out how to do that, check out the program “Habits: How To Make Them, How To Break Them” at the at 7 p.m.
- Wednesday: Today is the first of three Wednesdays that you can leave your Christmas tree at curbside for pick-up. You must remove all ornaments and tree bags.
- Thursday: Do you like chess? You can go to the tonight at 6 p.m. and indulge in your love of the game at the chess club meeting.
- Friday: Both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams are in action against Sparta, the girls at home and the boys on the road. Both games are at 7 p.m.
